Product is being uploaded daily, so if there's not something there for you tomorrow, there may well be the next day! TELL YOUR FRIENDS! Woops, I'm yelling! A little excited perhaps?

Just for one day...?

We love fashion so much we beat up a stranger coz we didn't like his jeans...
You'd think starting an online vintage store would be easy right? (DID you? Did you really?!) Well, it's not. Sourcing, scouring, bargaining, buying, styling, photographing, resizing, uploading, approving, then changing our mind...slowly, surely, she's on her way. And while it has been a challenge, a lot of hard work and plenty of long hours, we have definitely had FUN doing it! With excellent art direction (cough, cough) and a couple of pros (wink, wink) who lent their bodies, we have all product shots ready and waiting online for the site to go live. Here's some untouched, behind the scenes snaps...
The deadline's passed but it's worth the wait...
So there's this thing called a deadline. We missed it. It was today. But there is this thing called TECHNOLOGY which is meant to make life easier. It doesn't. gran's loose change is so close we can taste it. It's on the tip of our tongues, the click of our mouses - final tweaks are being made and without putting a date on it, it will be here soon. HONEST! (Sick of hearing that? Me too, but it's just how the cookie crumbles, and wouldn't you rather the site be PERFECT rather than mediocre? I would. Gran always says: "If you're going to do it, do it properly". So I am. We are. Don't give up on us yet!)

I've said it before but I'll say it again...
From magpies to butterflies...
The magpie brings us tidings
Of news both fair and foul;
She's more cunning than the raven,
More wise than any owl.
Madame Butterfly however, she lulls me straight to sleep
Like an ancient river
So very wide and deep...
The birds and I just got back from a city of powder blue skies
There's plenty of spies
Every street is crooked, they just wind around till they disappear
I look to both the birds of light and flight
for signs it will work out in the end.
To know my mind is not out of sorts, my thoughts are so loud I can't hear my own voice.
I like songs about drifters, books about the same
they both seem to make me feel a little less insane.
Walked on off to another spot, I still haven't got quite where I want.
The magpie sits on my shoulder top, the butterflies watch from afar,
They listen and guide me
They are never too far from my mind.
They ask me: Did you find what you were looking for? Do you remember what it was?
Im not sure I ever knew, but look what I found instead.
From magpies to butterflies, one thing is for sure,
There are some feelings that fill you up
That dig their roots into your skin
And never let go
They swell and blow you over
Like wind and the waves.
A transformation within the times,
The birds of light and whimsical flight
Will guide me through the way…

Here today, gone tomorrow and back again...
Hi ho gran's loose change followers. The summer sun was calling our name and we needed a wee break to refresh, revitalise and reenergise. We are back with more inspiration than you can poke a stick at and this week and next will see heads down, bums up as we work to get glc up and running. Keep an eye on the blog and sooner than not we will be kicking 2010's butt.
